ThoroughWorks is the world’s leading and most comprehensive thoroughbred sales management software. They engage us for the UX UI Design for their flagship sale management software. ThoroughWorks wanted to take the ThoroughWorks sale management mobile and tablet app user experience to another level, providing their clientele of families, Thoroughbred trainers, owners and buyers with the most sophisticated data and user-friendly app design.
Understanding users and their goals
When we spoke to the stakeholders, it was extremely important to simplify all aspects of consignments before, during and after-sale for the buyer and sellers and we were required to digitalise the whole process that was carried out on papers. During a series of sprints, we worked in constant communication with the team at ThoroughWorks to develop wireframes for each user experience. As a result, we devise a more precise app design and more bespoke user experience for ThoroughWorks buyer, sellers and trainers to manage sales and sale inspection data.
Intuitive design and outstanding user experience
ThoroughWorks interface was designed in assisting to better understand and easy to manage all aspects of consignments. We ensured our design was intuitive, simplistic, minimal, by incorporating visual elements to invoke familiarity in the user, encouraging the non tech savvy to explore the information and derive value.

The result is an outstanding app design, matching pace with ThoroughWorks growth as thoroughbred sales management leaders in the thoroughbred digital market. Through our collaborative relationship with the ThoroughWorks in-house development team, we implemented a design that unifies the user experience across various platforms – an adaptable system of guidelines, assets and tools that support the best practices of user interface design.
